November 21, 2018 - (T minus 2) Not all of our supplies have arrived at the Yost kitchen just yet but since we've increased our planned production this year, it will take a bit longer to make it all anyway. The biggest increase is actually in our chocolate varieties and Beta Flavors.
Three of our chocolate varieties - Chocolate Salted Caramel Swirl, Triple Mint Chocolate Tort, and Cinnamon Chocolate Cranberry - that have been on the Limited Edition list for a couple of years now that are graduating into a new class of Chocolate Essentials that will be become a standard flavor in our annual fudgeapolooza.
There are still 3 varieties on the Limited Edition list - Traditional Chocolate Walnut, Butterscotch Dark Chocolate Ribbon and Dark Chocolate Coconut - but we have five new Beta Flavors planned for the Yost Test Kitchen this year. Of course, you may see the count in this headline change if can't actually get to all of them, but we've stocked up a very interesting collection of extracts for some newly inspired flavor combinations.
November 23, 2018 - (Day 1) Off to a slow start but super grateful to have our number one, award-winning apprentice back to help this year - 89 lbs down, 253 to go.
November 24, 2018 - (Day 2) Made much better time today. Finished off all the peanut butter varieties, now on the specialty flavors - 185 lbs down, 157 to go.
November 25, 2018 - (Day 3) The Yost Test Kitchen is open and experimenting to develop this year's Beta Flavors...
